Emilie's "pretend birthday party." Celebrating a few days early with family and friends. Em made sure everyone knew it was her pretend birthday because she had other plans for her "real birthday."
We went down to Cedar City for the 4th of July. Went to the parade that Jasen was in. The skating rink asked Jasen to play music for their float. The actually float was a little pathetic, but was still the best float in the parade cause of the music. (I'm not kidding- nor saying that because Jasen is my brother in law) Seriously the music was awesome!
Ahhh, so here we are! Emilie's REAL birthday! Since about Feb. of this year Em started asking if she could go to "Tori, Adam, and Hailey's" for her birthday. On a whim and knowing that her birthday was near Reggie's due date we let Em ask them if she could have her birthday in Cedar City at their house, AND... at the "bouncy house." They were all for it!!! They sure did make it a fun 4th and 5th of July for our family! They spoiled Emilie with gifts and a ton of fun!

Simmons family reunion in Manti, Utah (July 24th)Grandma asked Seretta to play the Navy song on her trumpet in honor of Grandpa. Grandma stood in salute for the whole song! What a woman! After Seretta finished some other family members asked her to play the army song and other songs. Grandma leaned in to me, rolling her eyes a little saying that "everyone has to have her play their songs now." However when everyone was done with their requests Seretta ended with the Navy song for Grandma!
We had an awesome time with my parents at the Children's Gardens at Thanksgiving Point.
