Some Zoo Time With Aunt Seretta
The zoo has been turned in to Zoorasic Park. They have dinosaurs all over the zoo that move and make sounds. The first few times we went after the dinosaurs were out, the girls were scared and would skirt around the dinosaurs. If I was holding K, she would bury her face into my shoulder until we were well past the dinosaurs. And, well, if the zoo isn't fun enough- my girls have even more fun if we can get Aunt Seretta to come along.

Em's Dance/Gymnastics Recital
As usual Emilie was amazing and the star of the show. This time was especially cool. When they started the gymnastics portion of the show they called each child's name one at a time. The kids were instructed to run onto the mat and do their favorite gymnastics trick. Well each little girl runs out leaping across the mat, some doing twirls, a few somersaults, and some really just leaping across the floor. Then they call Emilie- and she runs onto the mat with one arm up in the air and busts out a full on cartwheel! It was unbelievable! We didn't even know she could do a cartwheel till that moment! Some mom I am, geeze! Anyways- talk about some proud parents, and a natural gymnast!

A couple of cute pictures of Em before the dance portion of the recital in her little duck outfit!

Father's Day!!
So for Father's Day we wanted to get Justin some fireworks, but none of the stands had opened yet and the stores were only carrying sparklers. So sparklers had to do. That evening we were outside lighting the sparklers when some people in our ward walked by. Emilie made sure to say hello, and handed everyone a sparkler. She is such a friendly little girl... big heart...
Fire Station With Friends
So, our ward does these great activities once a week during the summer. This one was really cool. We got to take the kids to a nearby Fire Station. They got to meet the firemen and climb all through the fire truck! The Fire Station got a call while we were there. It was hectic and little scary while we got the kids out and away from the truck so the firemen could take off.

The Princess Festival
On June 25th Justin took Emilie on a very special Daddy/Daughter Date to the Princess Festival at Thanksgiving Point. That morning before they left he gave Emilie a box with a new pretty pink princess dress in it! She was so cute and so excited for this special date. (Though she did cry a little as they left cause she was going to miss her mama)

In the pictures below we have Princess Aurora, the Princess and the Pea, Emilie as Rapunzel, and Emilie with Princess Rapunzel.

In these pictures Emilie is with Cinderella, the Princess and the Frog (that frog actually talked!), Belle (Justin said it actually took a while for Emilie to meet Belle because she wouldn't go near her when the Beast was around!), and then with some of Tinkerbell's Fairy Friends!

I LOVE this picture of Emilie looking at Cinderalla. What a sweet princess face! Even while another little girl is getting the attention from Cinderalla, Emilie looks so happy to just be there! There might be a little bit of adoration in that look too! ;) The bottom picture is pretty fun too. The stepmother just LOVED Emilie. Justin got quite a few pictures of her and Emilie talking. Anyways, during the play after the stepsisters tried on the slipper, the Stepmother grabbed Emilie and said she should try on the slipper. Emilie wouldn't try in on. She told her that her foot was too small for the slipper, and it wouldn't fit because it was Cinderella's slipper.

Justin and Emilie in Cinderella's carriage. Perfect Pair!
