What a wonderful little girl we have! She is so girly too! It's hard to believe we've been parents for 3 years! So in the morning when Emilie woke up, Justin took her on a "date" to IHOP where she had chocolate/chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast! Then they went to Petsmart and got her a goldfish that she named Conah. (I love the random names kids make up.) We had our family who was here in SLC over for lunch and cake/ice cream. Emilie's friend and neighbor Jackson came too! Having Justin here for her birthday was actually very lucky. Had the Fourth of July not fallen on a Sunday- thus Em's birthday was the day off for schools, Justin would have been doing his first rotation on her birthday! So, we got to have him! Two of Em's favorite gifts were from both her Grandmas (of course)... Woody (Toy Story) from Grandma Hart, and an American Girl Doll named Emily from Grandma Chandler. Me and Seretta have been in shock and disbelief that a three year old has a doll that we only ever dreamed of getting our ENTIRE childhoods! (And never got- sigh) Anyways- thank you Grandmas and everyone who came and celebrated Em's birthday with us!
My favorite favorite thing is my kids birthdays. Looks like she had a blast. What a good mom you are.
