So last Friday... April 16th... Justin came home early from school. He has been really great at getting the family out to do something fun when he is able to come home. So we headed out to the park to fly his cool dragon kite. It was so much fun, especially after we got over Emilie's initial terrifying fear of the scary dragon! She really screamed and cried and ran away from us and the kite, terrified!! After many attempts, Justin finally calmed her fears by explaining that he had total control over the dragon by holding the string... that the dragon had to do just what he made it do. The wind was a little fickle, but we were able to get it up as far as it would go! So cool. It was great to get Emilie out and running. All the while little miss Kimmerle slept, tucked away in my moby wrap. (Love that thing- by the way!)
